God Sends Rain to Both Good and Evil People —
One of the many ways God shows kindness to all people is through his supply of sunlight and water throughout the earth. He not only created the water cycle, but also maintains it year after year — for the welfare of those who love him as well as the welfare of those who ignore him.
God has promised in Genesis 8:22 that as long as “the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” — and all these things are dependent on the water cycle. What an amazing display of kindness!
