Parable of the Lost Sheep —
Jewish religious leaders in the first century criticized Jesus, because he was friendly to tax collectors and sinners — and horror of horrors, he spent time with them!
As a result, Jesus told three parables to help these Pharisees and scribes understand how God thinks — that no one is too bad for God to love and desire a relationship with.

Dearest Father, Thank you that you desire a relationship with people no matter who they are or what they have done. This means that even when I am at my worst, you still seek me out — you still love me and want me for your child. What an amazing truth! Thank you so much! Amen.
