What Do Kids Worry About?
Adults worry. Kids worry too — about all kinds of things.
So when God promises peace and calmness to those who worry in Philippians 4:6-7 — even kids’ ears perk up and listen.
Watch the following video produced by Dinky TV, as young people in England describe some of the things they worry about. Then make a list of the top two or three things that cause you to worry.
My Prayer
Dearest Father, Here is a list of the things I worry about. I lay them at your feet and ask for your help. Please replace my worries with your peace — the kind of peace that cannot be explained because it is so wonderful and comforting. Thank you for always being near to help me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
P.S. — If I try to pick these worries back up, help me remember to come to you again and lay them back down. I’m so glad for the privilege of being able to trade my worries for your peace.
