28c — Harmony (Art & Music)
True Harmony with God —
Harmony means “a pleasing agreement between two or more things.” It can apply to music and to relationships.
Jesus made harmony with God possible by taking our punishment on himself, then offering us acceptance and forgiveness in its place. It began with his arrest and trial where he was forsaken by his friends and condemned to death by the rulers of his people. It ended with his resurrection from the dead where he proved that he had the power and right to accomplish this pleasing agreement.
As a reminder of what harmony means, make your own version of the artwork shown here by following these steps:
1) Tear a variety of colored papers into sixteen 2 1/2″ x 3″ pieces.
2) Overlap the colored pieces in a harmonious way onto an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of paper and glue them down.
3) Draw or paste a cross onto the center of your artwork.
Then, listen to this song of harmony by three sisters called 3b4jHoy and join them in worshiping Jesus as your King for his amazing love.
